The main tasks include setting up and operating tools in injection molding machines for the production of plastic parts. You will be part of a team consisting of three people. Additionally, you will be responsible for the maintenance of machines and molds. The production is largely fully automated, which means you will work with computerized machines and robots. In the long term, we see you developing to also take responsibility for the start-up of new articles, with regard to machine and robot programming. As a machine operator at Kjellbergs Plast, you are a key person in our organization. The work is very varied as injection molding of plastic largely consists of problem-solving.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education, preferably with further education focused on production quality or production technology. It is desirable that you have several years of work experience from a similar role in the manufacturing industry. If you do not have previous experience as a machine operator, a broad interest and knowledge in areas such as electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and automation is a very good foundation to build upon. If you have training and practical experience as an electrician, that is also valued positively. We assume that you have little or no experience in injection molding, so we will ensure to provide you with basic training and understanding in the field.

We are looking for a person with great will and commitment. You are structured, driven, and technically very curious. Your personal qualities such as drive, initiative, and willingness to learn and develop are the most important and weigh the heaviest in the balance.
